Colors of Success

Simmons mentors Cynthia Kangeyo, Nubia Mejia and Vanessa Aspiliare were featured in The Simmons Voice as attendees of the Colors of Success reception on Thursday, September 26. The Colors of Success event was a gathering to celebrate student leaders who have an influence on the multicultural Simmons community. Nubia Mejia is the President of the Organizacion Latina Americana at Simmons College. As an organization they host several events celebrating and educating the Simmons community about the Latin culture. OLA recently hosted Latin Night of the Arts at Simmons College's Family & Friends Weekend. This event allowed the Simmons community to taste traditional Cuban food, listen to beautiful latina music and watch flamenco dancers!  We are very proud of the impact and influence Cynthia, Vanessa and Nubia have made at their college!
